Portrait of William Lawrence Bragg taken when he was around 40 years old. Sir William Lawrence Bragg (31 March 1890 – 1 July 1971) was an Australian-born British physicist who shared the 1915 Nobel Prize in Physics with his father William Henry Bragg "for their services in the analysis of crystal structure by means of X-rays", [3] an important step in the development of X-ray crystallography.
According to the 2θ deviation, the phase shift causes constructive (left figure) or destructive (right figure) interferences. Lawrence Bragg explained this result by modeling the crystal as a set of discrete parallel planes separated by a constant parameter d. He proposed that the incident X-ray radiation would produce a Bragg peak if ...

[2] The album marks the first project to not include any guest appearances or samples. Instead, the album focused on Howard's "pop songcraft", using his own lyrics and vocals, while Guy takes on "everything from jungle breaks and trance-like supersaw synth riffs to rapid tempo four-to-the-floor club tracks" production-wise. The concept of bubble raft modelling was first presented in 1947 by Nobel Laureate Sir William Lawrence Bragg and John Nye of Cambridge University's Cavendish Laboratory in Proceedings of the Royal Society A. [1] Legend claims that Bragg conceived of bubble raft models while pouring oil into his lawn mower.
He was born on 17 November 1923 to Lawrence Bragg, physicist, X-ray crystallographer and Nobel Prize winner for physics (1915) and his wife Alice Grace Jenny née Hopkinson. [2] He attended Rugby School. [3] He studied engineering at the University of Cambridge graduating with an BA in 1945 and an MA in 1949.
The single "Television" was reissued by Alternative Tentacles in 2002, and the album was planned for a CD re-release while made available on iTunes and other digital retailers.
