The Ann Arbor Skatepark, also known as the A2 Skatepark, is a 30,000-square-foot skatepark in Ann Arbor, Michigan which opened June 21, 2014. [1] The Ann Arbor Skatepark is located within Veterans Memorial Park.
Although this location has since closed, Modern Skate still has one skate park in Royal Oak. Grand Rapids, MI also had a long-standing Modern skatepark, but was closed in 2011. The Royal Oak park, completed in 2008, features over 1-acre (4,000 m 2 ) of ramps and rails, including a wooden bowl made by world-renowned builders Team Pain. [ 3 ]
The Frankenmuth Credit Union Event Center (formerly Birch Run Expo Center) was a 2,500 seat multi-purpose arena in Birch Run, Michigan. However, it was sold to Camping World in November 2020 and is now one of their largest showrooms. Prior to 2002, it was the first NHL Skate center. Due to lack of interest, it was converted into an events center.
