Valencia is the only city in Spain with two American football teams in LNFA Serie A, the national first division: Valencia Firebats and Valencia Giants. The Firebats have been national champions four times and have represented Valencia and Spain in the European playoffs since 2005. Both teams share the Jardín del Turia stadium.
Apo Macote is located in the southern part of Malaybalay bounded to the north by Sinanglanan, to the east by Malayanan of the municipality of San Fernando, to the south by the Pulangi River which separates Apo Macote from Lumbayao, Sinabuagan, and San Isidro of Valencia City, and to the west by Santo Niño and Nabag-o.
Malaybalay used to be larger and comprised roughly the area of the present-day Second Congressional District of Bukidnon except for Impasug-ong and the southern half of San Fernando. Throughout the 1950s to the 1970s, some of the far-flung, populated barrios of Malaybalay were separated from it to form part of a new municipality.

Miglamin is a long strip of territory in the southeastern portion of the city that straddles the mountains between Malaybalay and Cabanglasan.It is bounded to the north by Linabo, Can-ayan and Capinonan, to the east by Lambagan, Imbatug, and Cabulohan, to the south by Paradise, Jasaan, and Apo Macote, and to the west by Maligaya, Managok, San Martin, and Sinanglanan.
The district encompasses the provincial capital city of Malaybalay and the entire eastern frontier of Bukidnon bordering the Caraga and Davao regions. Its municipalities are Cabanglasan, Impasugong, Lantapan and San Fernando. [4] Prior to redistricting in 2012, the district also covered the city of Valencia. [5]
