In condensed matter physics, the resonating valence bond theory (RVB) is a theoretical model that attempts to describe high-temperature superconductivity, and in particular the superconductivity in cuprate compounds. It was first proposed by an American physicist P. W. Anderson and Indian theoretical physicist Ganapathy Baskaran in 1987.
Anson resigned in September 2003 after the Hartford Courant reported that he had taken a bribe in the form of free design work from the architecture firm Kaestle Boos Associates. [2] Governor Rowland subsequently appointed James T. Fleming to lead the Department. [2]

Ginzburg and Landau pointed out the possibility of type-II superconductors that should form inhomogeneous state in strong magnetic fields. However, at that time, all known superconductors were type-I, and they commented that there was no experimental motivation to consider precise structure of type-II superconducting state.
Red vs. Blue, often abbreviated as RvB, is a comic science fiction video web series created by Rooster Teeth Productions and distributed through the Internet and on DVD.The story centers on two opposite teams fighting a civil war in the middle of a desolate box canyon (Blood Gulch) in a parody of first-person shooter (FPS) games, military life, and science fiction films.
Fig. 1. HSL (a–d) and HSV (e–h). Above (a, e): cut-away 3D models of each. Below: two-dimensional plots showing two of a model's three parameters at once, holding the other constant: cylindrical shells (b, f) of constant saturation, in this case the outside surface of each cylinder; horizontal cross-sections (c, g) of constant HSL lightness or HSV value, in this case the slices halfway ...
Rappaport-Vassiliadis soya peptone broth (RVS broth) is used as an enrichment growth medium for the isolation of Salmonella species. [1] It is not recommended for the enrichment of Salmonella Typhi or Paratyphi, which is inhibited due to the malachite green in RVS broth. [2]
