Lugnaquilla [4] (Irish: Log na Coille, meaning 'hollow of the wood') [5] is the highest of the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland, rising to 925 metres (3,035 ft). It is also the highest Irish mountain outside of County Kerry, [6] and the highest point in County Wicklow and the province of Leinster.

Lugnaquilla forms the eastern boundary of the Glen of Imaal. The Glen of Imaal (/ ˈ ɪ m ɑː l / or / ˈ iː m ɑː l /; Irish: Gleann Uí Mháil) is a remote glen in the western Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. It is ringed by the Lugnaquilla massif and its foothills, including Table Mountain and Keadeen.
