Campus Martius Park (/ ˈ m ɑːr ʃ ʌ s / MAR-shuss) [1] is a re-established park in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. The hotel reopened as the 'DoubleTree Guest Suites by Hilton Detroit Downtown - Fort Shelby on December 15, 2008. On March 30, 2001, the hotel reopened as the Crowne Plaza Detroit Pontchartrain, following a major renovation. [7] In 2006, Shubh LLC purchased the hotel and it underwent a $35 million renovation, reopening as the Sheraton Detroit Riverside in November 2007. [ 8 ]
