English: The ANSI 'safety alert symbol' used to indicate physical injury of some kind may result. The color is usually changed to match the safety sign it's associated with, however this black and white one is found in equipment manuals for drawing attention to critical instructions that could result in injury if ignored.

This symbol was created with Adobe Illustrator. This is not my favorite variant of the concept (there are many), but it's the only one I've found with explicit licensing info that is Wikipedia-acceptable.
