While most spam should be caught by our filters, occasionally some can slip through. If that does happen it's important to mark the email as spam. It lets our system learn that messages from a specific sender are not good and helps us make AOL Mail even better at recognizing future spam emails. Filter out spam
Select the email. Click Spam.; If you're given the option, click Unsubscribe and you will no longer receive messages from the mailing list. If you click the "Mark as Spam" icon, the message will be marked as spam and moved into the spam folder.
Delete a single email. Click on the conversation where the email is located. Click the More Icon | click Delete Message. Delete a full conversation. Locate the thread you want to delete. Click in the box to the left of the message. Click Delete at the top of your Inbox.
