Konvict Kulture is a record label founded by R&B singer Akon, Melvin Brown and Bu Thiam in 2003 under the name Konvict Muzik. [3] Artists including T-Pain, Kat DeLuna, Mali Music, Red Café, Dolla, Ya Boy, and Costa Titch have signed to and released singles or albums by the label.
Akon and Konvict Muzik produced hip hop/rock group Flipsyde's 2009 release, State of Survival, released via KonLive Distribution and Cherrytree Records. [27] He was also the executive producer of Kardinal Offishall's fourth solo album Not 4 Sale. The first single "Dangerous", which featured Akon peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Epiphany is the second studio album by American singer and rapper T-Pain, It was released on June 5, 2007, by his record label Nappy Boy Entertainment, under the distribution of Akon's label Konvict Muzik, Jive Records, and Zomba Label Group. The album marks a first for T-Pain, who launched his own record label Nappy Boy Entertainment.

Sway‘s second album The Signature LP was released in 2008 which was released under Akon’s Konvict Muzik. Sway signed Silverstone to his label as a producer shortly before the album’s release and he produced a track on the album. Silverstone is an accomplished producer amongst UK Hip-Hop and is talented with different instruments.

Born in Paris, Edjouma's career started out in the US when he signed on Akon's label Konvict Muzik. [2] It was around this time that he was working with famous artists such as R. City, T-Pain, and producing for Sean Combs, Snoop Dogg, Ja Rule, and Booba. [3] He then decided to return to France to focus on his personal project.
