Masvingo Airport (IATA: MVZ, ICAO: FVMV) is an airport serving Masvingo, the capital of Masvingo Province in Zimbabwe. The runway is 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) east of the city. It is mainly used for small chartered aircraft or by military aircraft. The Masvingo VOR-DME (Ident: VMV) is located on the field.
A railway line passes from Masvingo to Gweru. The nearest airport is at Masvingo. A public bus, commuter omnibuses, bicycle, ox-powered carts, but for distances less than 15 km, most people walk. The National Railways of Zimbabwe (NZR) stopped passing through Chatsworth around the year 2018.

Gweru, originally known as Gwelo, is a city in central Zimbabwe. It is on the centre of Midlands Province . Originally an area known to the Ndebele as "The Steep Place" because of the Gweru River 's high banks , in 1894 it became the site of a military outpost established by Leander Starr Jameson . [ 2 ]
