Midtown is an American pop-punk band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. [1] Midtown was formed in November 1998 by three Rutgers University students, but quickly became a quartet. The group released three full-length studio albums and three extended plays before disbanding in 2005.
The album also debuted at number one in the UK and was the band's first UK No. 1 album. New Jersey was released by the Soviet state-owned record label Melodiya, being the first American album to be officially released in the USSR. [7] [8] To celebrate the band's 30th anniversary in 2014, the album was repackaged with bonus tracks.
