Hopkins Public Schools is a nationally recognized E-12 Minnesota public school district serving approximately 7,200 students. The district includes six elementary schools (gr. E-5), two middle schools (gr. 6-8), one high school (gr. 9-12), and one online & blended learning school (E-12).
Hopkins High School offers a comprehensive academic program designed for students with differing abilities and goals, including AP, College in the Schools, honors classes, language immersion, and vocational training and foundations classes.
Our six elementary schools serve students in preschool through fifth grade. Beyond the basic skills of literacy, math, sciences, social studies, physical education, and the arts, individual student needs are important. We meet those needs through: Personalized Learning. Project Based Learning.
The Hopkins School Board — comprised of seven members elected at large by District residents — is the governing authority of Hopkins Public Schools. The responsibilities of the Board are primarily focused on three areas: Budget adoption, revenue management, and expenditure authorization.
