The 2024 New Mexico Lobos football team represented the University of New Mexico as a member of the Mountain West Conference during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Lobos were led by Bronco Mendenhall in his first and only year as New Mexico's head coach. They played home games at University Stadium in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Lobos finished the 2023–24 season 26–10, 10–8 in Mountain West play to finish in a tie for sixth place. As the No. 6 seed in the Mountain West tournament, they beat Air Force in the first round, [1] Boise State in the quarterfinals, [2] Colorado State in the semifinals, [3] and San Diego State in the championship to clinch the NCAA tournament.
