Except cheaper, obviously. I'd buy from Scan Design if I could afford it, but that's not going to happen right now. Basically, I'm looking for a new bed, and I love those modern platform beds that are really close to the ground. Plus, you only need a mattress with them.
Since this is interior wood I’d call a Scan design furniture store and ask them. Just moved here, want to buy some good quality, good design, modern furniture, such as dining table and chairs.
I will be moving into an empty house in about 2 weeks in Ft. Myers, FL from Phila, PA. I am a guy who likes the modern/contemporary style. I plan on stopping in NC to hit up the furniture outlets and wanted to get some opinions on what would look good.
Metal furniture is hot, but it will last; cushions are easy to replace. (You might notice some homes are built with metal window casings; they endure and don't rust to speak of.) Wicker sounds like a pretty good idea, because it will be cool to sit on; the sun will destroy it, but wicker is inexpensive to replace.
The price was low but the quality did not look good. Once I got past the 7 page block I found another similar item for about double the price, but looked to be much higher quality and a much better design which will give me a 3 x more accurate weight. In short the item I wanted wasn't in the first 7 pages.
