Ross Prairie is a farming community situated two miles (3.2 km) south of Fayetteville in Fayette County, Texas. [1] First settled in the 1820s by James J. Ross, in the 1840s and '50s the land attracted German and Bohemian immigrants who built the church there.
Cistern is an unincorporated community in southwestern Fayette County, Texas, United States. It is located on Texas State Highway 95, 12 miles (19 km) northwest of Flatonia.
