Maria Elisabeth Hille (1827–1893), was a Dutch photographer. [1] She was the first professional female photographer in the Netherlands . She managed a studio where she worked alongside her spouse in Groningen in 1853 (from 1857 in The Hague ).

He was the son of Wollert Krohn Hille (1796-1860) and Elisabeth Marie Hess Lem (1798-1888). In 1841 he entered Bergen Cathedral School. In 1848, he begin to study theology. [1] In 1865, Hille became prison chaplain in Bergen and, in 1872, he was appointed assistant pastor in Stange Church in Hedmark county.
Hille furniture company was founded in 1906 by Salamon Hille in London. [2] Her mother had married Morris Goldman and she had taken his name, but in 1932 they took over the Hille company and all of them changed their name to Hille. Goldman's early career was dictated by the second world war where she enlisted and worked for Louis Mountbatten.
