Christopher Ward Norman (born 25 October 1950) is an English soft rock singer. Norman was the original lead singer of the English rock band Smokie [ 1 ] (1964–1986), which found success in Europe in the 1970s.
Norman is also the director of Boxwood Festival & Workshop, [5] a 501(c)(3) organization in the United States which aims to provide opportunities for the dissemination, sharing, presentation and celebration of traditional music. Norman and Boxwood have presented workshops in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia.
