WRDW-TV (channel 12) is a television station in Augusta, Georgia, United States, affiliated with CBS and MyNetworkTV.It is owned by Gray Media alongside Class A NBC affiliate WAGT-CD (channel 26) and low-power Telemundo affiliate WGAT-LD (channel 28).
The funeral homes sued Tri-State and Marsh, eventually settling first for $36 million with the plaintiff's class in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Ultimately, the Marsh defendants also settled for $3.5 million after their insurer, Georgia Farm Bureau, agreed to pay the settlement.
Brannon, a funeral director, founded (1967) and operated the Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home in Calhoun, Georgia. He was also a probate court judge and a coroner for Gordon County, Georgia. [1] He served in the Georgia State Senate for district 51 from 1981 to 1991. [2] Brannon died on September 11, 2020, at the age of 86. [3]

WJBF-TV began operations on November 26, 1953, as Augusta's first television station. [2] The station was founded by the Georgia-Carolina Broadcasting Company, the broadcasting arm of local entrepreneur J. B. Fuqua, [3] who also owned NBC Radio Network affiliate WJBF (1230 AM).
