Hedonism II opened in 1976 as "Negril Beach Village" and was renamed in 1981. It was built by the Government of Jamaica at a cost of $10 million. [ 2 ] It occupies 22 acres (89,000 m 2 ) at the northern end of Negril beach and has 280 rooms in two-story buildings.
Tensing Pen Resort is located on the western tip of Jamaica in the town of Negril.It was founded in the early 1970s as a haven and retreat for young couples. In 1975, it was purchased by Karin and Richard Murray.
Negril is featured in Ian Fleming's 1965 novel The Man with the Golden Gun.
