The Vernal Utah Temple is the fifty-first temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The temple is located in Vernal and was the church's tenth temple built in Utah. When it was dedicated on November 2, 1997, the Vernal Temple was unique for being the church's only temple built from a previously existing structure.
