The Lover's Oak is a notably historic and large Southern live oak tree in Brunswick, Georgia. Located in the Brunswick Old Town Historic District , the tree is reportedly over 900 years old. The tree has a trunk diameter of 13 feet (4.0 m) and has 10 main limbs.
In addition, Mtirala National Park is located along the "Batumi bottleneck", which is a convergence zone for migrating raptor species. In total, more than 1 million raptors of 35 different species migrate through the park in the autumn, including greater than 50% of the global populations of the booted eagle and European honey-buzzard .
