Village of Oak Creek is an unincorporated community located within Big Park a census-designated place (CDP) in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States. The population was 6,147 at the 2010 census , up from 5,245 in 2000.
A farm located south of the Bureau of Mines became the new property for the Fir Oaks Addition in 1948. Owned by John Elbert Elder and his wife Beatrice, the lot included land around Oak Creek and the land located westward near the creek's end at the Calapooia River. [8] Not much is known about the Elder family.
