Blue Wizard's most popular game as of August 2024 is Shell Shockers (https://shellshock.io), a browser-based first-person shooter in which players take the form of weaponized eggs and attempt to kill each other. Players can drop in and play anonymously in public lobbies or create persistent accounts and private maps to play with friends.
It was released as early access on March 11, 2015 on Steam for PC. On March 8, 2019 it was released on Xbox One [ 4 ] [ 5 ] and on September 13 of the same year on PlayStation 4. Shell Shock! is set in Europe during World War II and players play as commanders of either Axis (German) or Allied troops (either American, British, or Soviet). Next Generation reviewed the PC version of the game, rating it two stars out of five, and stated that "on the pure action level, this might whet some appetites. It's not a hit, but it might be enough to entertain you as long as it's purchased in the ever-helpful bargain bin."
The System Shock remake will be available both physically and digitally for PS5 and Xbox Series X, while the last-gen consoles will only receive a digital edition of the game, which is a shame.
