Palo Verde High Magnet School is located at 1302 South Avenida Vega in Terra Del Sol, Tucson, Arizona. The school has been open since 1962. Its current principal is Eric Brock. The school's name comes from the surrounding Palo Verde trees, native to Tucson. Its mascot is the Titan and the school colors are royal blue and gold.

On this date Charles William Egleston (1895–1965) and his wife Anna Kehr Egleston (1898–1997) donated 65 acres (260,000 m 2) of pristine desert property in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains at the base of Pusch Ridge to Palo Verde Baptist Church of North Tucson. In 2004, William Kalt presented “I'll Meet You In the Cornfield: The Great Train Wreck of 1903!” at the 45th Annual Arizona History Convention in Safford, Arizona. The book Tucson Was a Railroad Town includes a chapter about the train wreck. In 2013, the Vail Unified School District named a new school the Esmond Station Elementary School.
