Flag of Somalia. The flag of Somaliland (Somali: Calanka Soomaaliland; Arabic: علم صوماليلاند) was adopted on 14 October 1996. It consists of a tricolour of green, white, and red, with a black star located in the centre.
The current flag of Galmudug was adopted on 17 June 2015. Initially, it flew the Somali flag, but sometimes above the star a white inscription “State Somaliyya” was added.
