Peter Brock (1945–2006) was an Australian racing car driver. Peter Brock may also refer to: Pete Brock (born 1936), American racing car designer, notably of the Shelby Daytona coupé; Pete Brock (American football) (born 1954), played for New England Patriots from 1976 to 1987; Peter Brock (historian) (1920–2006), Canadian historian of pacifism
Peter Brock was born in 1920 on Guernsey, Channel Islands. [1] Although he came from a military family, he rejected this tradition. While studying at Exeter College, Oxford, he came under the influence of pacifist ideas, particularly those of Bart de Ligt.
He later purchased the ex HDT Torana in which Peter Brock had won the Bathurst 1000 in 1972 from Barrie Nixon Smith and campaigned the car until his switch to Ford in 1977. [2] The Torana was sold to Kerry Cox who raced it in the QLD Touring car championship in a close rivalry with Dick, with Cox winning in 1977 and Dick getting the title in 1978.
All Brock Purdy does is win, and Peter King is done letting anyone doubt the 49ers’ bona fide superstar quarterback, who now arguably leads the MVP race.
