Patrick McPherson (born April 15, 1969) is an American professional football coach who is the tight ends coach for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). [1] In 2010, he joined the Seahawks as tight ends coach after 11 years with the Denver Broncos , where he was both the quarterbacks and tight ends coach.

KNEX's most enduring employee was Claude Hughes, who came to McPherson from Garden City. He began as the station's first engineer in 1949.

He is the defensive coordinator at Arizona State University.Ward served as the head football coach at McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas from 2007 to 2009 and as the interim head football coach at Bowling Green State University for one game in 2015.
