While their initial albums featured mostly German lyrics, in 1975 Kraftwerk began writing lyrics that combined both German and English verses. Beginning with " Trans-Europe Express " (1977), most songs by the group were created as duplicate versions sung in English or German; some French, Japanese, Italian or Spanish versions were made.
The Catalogue (German: Der Katalog) is a box set consisting of the eight albums by German electronic music band Kraftwerk that were released from 1974 to 2003. [ 9 ] The 3-member Kraftwerk line up of Schneider, Dinger and Michael Rother made an appearance on Radio Bremen , [ 10 ] and also on the TV shows Beat-Club and Okidoki . [ 11 ]

As indicated by the title (and like their previous album), all the tracks were written, performed and produced by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider, with the sessions engineered by the influential Konrad "Conny" Plank.
