Tanjiro survives the seven days and finds only three other survivors. After receiving his starting rank and choosing the ore to make his sword, Tanjiro returns to Mt. Sagiri, where he reunites with Sakonji and a reawakened Nezuko. A swordsmith named Haganezuka arrives afterwards to give Tanjiro his sword, surprising everyone that it turns black.
