The University of Colorado Student Government (CUSG) is the student body government for the University of Colorado Boulder. [1] Known formerly as the University of Colorado Student Union (UCSU), [2] CUSG creates, implements and oversees a $34 million budget generated by student fees and self-generated revenue for the operation of CUSG Cost Centers.

CU South Denver, located in Lone Tree, opened in 2015 as a satellite campus of CU Denver, but permanently closed in August 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and concerns surrounding the campus' financial viability. At the time of its closing, the campus offered four academic programs and served nearly 300 students.
Due to the lack of housing available to the students, only the freshmen year participate in the residential college. MIRAE campus operates 7 houses and the residential college campus in Songdo operates 12 houses. There is another residential college in GIST(Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology) College at Gwangju, South Korea.
The fraternities and sororities associated with CU are located on The Hill as are several establishments associated with the social lives of its students. It is a mixed residential neighborhood with substantial private student housing. [1] [2] It was the center of counterculture activity in Boulder during the 1960s and 70s. [3]
