Always enjoy the forum - we currently live in Nova Scotia and are looking to move to BC, as its too quiet here and we are pretty bored!! I would agree with the last post tho, Lunenburg is lovely but I would stress the tourism industry would be a far cry from that in BC with regard to Bed and Breakfasts etc. Good luck :D

Re: Best place to live in Nova Scotia? Hurricanes originate in the south and travel north but their paths vary. Some will make landfall at the southern tip of NS and others stay out to sea and land at other points along the coast.
Re: good places to live in nova scotia? The area to the west of Hwy 102 between Truro and Halifax is pretty - i.e. Rawdon, Nine Mile River - if not remote!! This is probably as hilly as it gets in NS:D
