Each February hundreds of talented high school band students from throughout the nation converge on the University of South Carolina campus to participate in a weekend of music-making and learning. The University Band, under the direction of Dr. Quintus Wrighten, is a diverse ensemble consisting of musicians from across campus, regardless of their degree program. In the Fall, the group rehearses on Monday nights from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and performs one concert in the Koger Center for the Arts.
