It includes only one known species, Tripora divaricata, native to Japan, Korea, and China (Gansu, Henan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Sichuan). [1] [2] It is still referred to by its synonym Caryopteris divaricata in the literature.
