    Even my brand new Lexus RX300 had alls sorts of problems/design faults 10 years ago! Most reliable car in our family was my ex-wife Accent '97...In 4 years of ownership, besides normal maintenance items, it only required a battery after 31/2 years and front brake pads once.

    The 2.0 is much more powerful than the 2.4 NA motor. Plus, not advertised, but the Turbo motor is intercooled as well! Run good fuel and synthetic oil in the motor.
