I am trying to download Microsoft Money Plus Sunset, because my password is not recognised in Money Manager, even though I have used the program for 20 years. Please can you help. I have many backup files of Money Manager, but if they cannot be opened I would like to use Sunset. Please could you help. Thank you, Sidney Urdang
Is Microsoft money still available in 2024? Money Plus Sunset (essentially Money 2006) is still available from non-Microsoft sites. These 2 sites should be safe, but there are multiple download links. Make sure you're downloading Money.
Thanks for your reply Don. I have in fact found a solution following the advice of another poster here that it is possible to install Money directly into Windows 11. I ran the old installation CD on an external DVD drive. The first time I ran it the CD drive whirred for about 30 seconds and then stopped.
If you will work with me I will be here to help until the issue is resolved. Many, many people miss Microsoft Money and are dismayed to find it doesn't run any longer in WIndows 10 no matter how hard we've tried to keep it running into the later versions. I had the same problem and found a fix through the forum as follows: -open regedit. -go to the key: HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WoW6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer. -In the right pane you'll see link for the version registry value. The second one from the bottom reads Version and the value is 9.11.10240.16384.

Microsoft Money Deluxe Sunset does works with Windows 10. However, the downoad is no longer available from Download Center. I hope you have a copy of the installation executable.
