Free at Last is the fifth studio album by the English rock band Free.It was recorded between January and March 1972, and released in June that year. After breaking up in May 1971 due to differences between singer Paul Rodgers and bassist Andy Fraser, the band had reformed in January 1972.
Free's discography consists of six studio albums, two live albums, 18 compilation albums, one EP, 16 singles and two video albums. The band released their debut album Tons of Sobs in 1969. [ 1 ] The album entered the US Billboard 200 chart at number 197. [ 2 ]
Bastar state was a princely state in India during the British Raj. It was founded in the early 13th century by Annamaraja, a brother of the last ruler of the Kakatiya dynasty, Prataparudra II. It is today used to refer to the same region, called Bastar division in Chhattisgarh state. [1]
Fraser also co-wrote two other hit singles for Free, "My Brother Jake" and "The Stealer". [7] Free initially split in 1971, and Fraser formed a trio, Toby, with guitarist Adrian Fisher, and drummer Stan Speake. [8] Material was recorded but not released, and Fraser re-joined Free in December 1971. He left for the second time in June 1972.
