Originally, the winner of the show was going to marry in the final episode. But, when Rakhi did not feel ready to get married, she and Elesh got engaged during the final episode entitled "Faisle Ki Raat". After the show, It was reported that the couple were happy and had agreed to do a show called Pati Patni Aur Woh.
They got engaged during the finale and later split up after a couple of months. Rakhi Sawant later went on to host the highly controversial [citation needed] show Rakhi Ka Insaaf, while Elesh Parujanwala went on to appear in another highly controversial [citation needed] show, Pati Patni Aur Woh, alongside his then partner, Rakhi Sawant.

She started her career as a model and won the Miss Bombay title. Her first movie was Raja Kaka (1974) opposite Kiran Kumar.
