Built in 1895, this is the most intact and architecturally sophisticated of the few remaining one-room schoolhouses in Yamhill County. It served students in kindergarten through 8th grade until it closed in 1957, and has since been converted into a house. It is the sole remnant of the former railroad town of Briedwell. [7] 7
