Laila Majnu (Hindi pronunciation: [lɛːlaː mədʒnuː]) is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film starring Avinash Tiwary and newcomer Tripti Dimri. It is directed by Sajid Ali, presented by Imtiaz Ali and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor , Shobha Kapoor and Preety Ali.
Laila Majnu is based on the Arabic tale of Layla and Majnun. The film was produced and directed by F. Nagoor under the banner Balaji Pictures and was funded by M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar.
