Well, at least there is some movement! Their tracking system seems suuuuper slow. It shows that my shipment record was received in Brampton on Nov 2, and the next update was on Nov 9 when it arrived at Etobicoke and went through the sort facility.
Seems like Loomis doesn't update the status in between Etobicoke and the burnaby terminal. Might be optimistic but that along with Walmart stores saying they are getting trucks of ps5 orders all week has me thinking our consoles are probably close at this point
Loomis doesn’t even have any customer service options on the weekends and Walmart is going to keep giving the copy/paste responses, so we’re just left in the dark. Walmart literally chose the cheapest option for something they had 2 months to prepare for. At this point, I’m sceptical about receiving it tomorrow.
Loomis exists owned "Mayne Group" Loomis is purchased by DHL to provide ground based service Canada wide. DHL Express is 'arms length' related. Loomis changes name and branding to DHL Ground. Circa 2002-ish DHL gives up on ground service in Canada and sells to Transforce based in Quebec. Service re-named and re-branded back to Loomis. Circa 2011.
7-10 days I'm in Rural Alberta. Loomis tracking number. Been ordering lots this winter and always comes nicely packaged. Had one stick show up damaged, sent them an email and they replaced the cigar plus threw in a free cutter. Great service.
My Dec 3rd order from Walmart hasn’t updated since the 7th saying it was sorted through facility. It’s a disk edition headed to BC through Loomis, they missed 2 estimated delivery dates and have stopped updating it. Cant get in contact with Loomis and Walmart has escalated my issue and is calling me back in yet another 2-4 days.
Be patient, my order from Walmart on launch day said it arrived, checked tracking and it did it had only entered my city, console showed up like 3 hours later. Loomis is soo shit, my experience with Walmart and the lack of loomis customer support makes me wanna never order a big ticket item from Walmart again
Updates for future visitors: Dec 11 - Loomis tracker didn't update until today. It arrived in Etobicoke, sorted and departed from the terminal. New estimated date of arrival is December 15th. Dec 15. 7:00am - Updated to "with courier". 8:00am - Ps5 has arrived!
Loomis tracking used to say expected delivery Nov 17 at 00:00:00 but that's gone now and it's still in transit.
Past Due means the estimated delivery date has passed but the delivery has not completed. before Covid, you can request a full refund on shipping cost but they use Covid as a reason to stop issuing refund (Same with FedEx and UPS) You shouldn't be worry too much.
