Why, because A List and Early bird owners can keep showing up (buying tickets or Early bird) until before 36 hours before departure time.
Morning. First of all, security (TSA) only checks to verify that you have a valid ticket , that you've checked in, and that you can prove who you are. Other than that, it has nothing to do with the ticketing process. So no, you won't have to print two boarding passes. You should be able to sort it all out at the gate.
I hardly ever travel alone, and the extra hassle of waiting in line at a kiosk to print a paper boarding pass when I'm already dreading the line through security is enough to make me think twice about flying with Southwest. I had a flight a few months ago with Delta, and they had no problems sending mobile boarding passes to multiple passengers.
a) MY ktn is in my SW profile, but TSA Pre doesn't appear on my boarding pass .or. b) TSA Pre shows on my boarding pass - why not my ktn number .or. c) Something that I haven't thought of . There is no such thing as a "TSA number"

I used to be able to check in and have my boarding pass avaiable in my apple wallet. Now when I go to view it I am given the meesage "Please visit kiosk or ticket counter for your boarding pass".. I have never had issues in the past until a couple of months agao. I have the Iphone X and its updated to most recent IOS.
Either way, since this would likely need to be troubleshooted either directly with Apple Support or Southwest depending on the cause, I would use an alternative option for now for your Boarding Pass.
