MAACO Franchising, Inc. (doing business as Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting) is an American franchisor of auto painting and collision repair shops based in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was founded in 1972 by Anthony A. Martino and Daniel I. Rhode.
In 1990, he was named the Entrepreneur of the Year by the International Franchise Association. Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting sales have risen for five consecutive years [when?] as the chain of 475 centers expanded into late-model, driveable collision repairs.
