James Arthur Crumley (October 12, 1939 – September 17, 2008) [2] [3] [4] was an American author of violent hardboiled crime novels and several volumes of short stories and essays, as well as published and unpublished screenplays.
Jim Crumley (born 1947) is a Scottish journalist, a former newspaper editor and regular columnist for the Dundee Courier and The Scots Magazine. James Myers Thompson (September 27, 1906 – April 7, 1977) was an American novelist and screenwriter, known for his hardboiled crime fiction. Thompson wrote more than thirty novels, the majority of which were original paperback publications, published from the late-1940s through mid-1950s.
