Navenby Station in 1920. Navenby railway station was a railway station in Navenby, Lincolnshire on the Grantham and Lincoln railway line. [1] The station closed for passengers in 1962 and freight in 1964 but the line remained open until it was closed in 1965 as part of the Beeching Axe. [2]
Leadenham railway station. The line between Honington and Lincoln was opened by the GNR on 15 April 1867. It was 18 miles 2 chains in extent and was constructed by Kirk & Parry for £121,533. There were stations at Caythorpe, Leadenham, Navenby, Harmston and Waddington, and the line joined the Lincolnshire Loop at Pelham Street junction, Lincoln.
