Azusa (Tongva: Azuksa, meaning "skunk") is a city in the San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County, California, United States, at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains and located 20 miles (32 km) east of downtown Los Angeles. Its population was 50,000 in 2020, an increase from 46,361 at the 2010 census. [7]
In 1928, the City completed construction of the two main wings of the civic center, with City Hall on one side and the municipal auditorium on the other.
