Chris Hannibal (b. 1965) is a speaker and magician. Biography. Hannibal has been in and around theater since he was six. He first appeared on stage in ‘The Music Man’. Throughout high school and college he worked onstage while pursuing a career in accounting, sales and marketing.
I used to see him at the Winter Carnival of Magic in Gatlinburg, about 20 years ago. While I think he performed as "Hannibal", it wasn't a secret that his name was Chris. And I think he has a trick in one of Steam Beam's "Semi-Automatic" books as "Chris Hannibal".

I am looking for more information on Chris Power's excellent "Coins Through Silk" routine (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxaqMgTanR0). This appears to take Michael Ammar's highly visual routine (as published in Encore 3) a few steps further.
An ingeniously motivated torn-and-restored card in which the spectator writes his first name in big, bold letters across the face of a selected card, then the magician offers to find some anagrams for the name and tears the card into as many strips as there are letters (i.e., each strip bears one letter of the spectator's name).
