Blairsville is a borough in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, United States, located 42 miles (68 km) east of Pittsburgh, and on the Conemaugh River. As of the 2020 census [ 3 ] it had a population of 3,252.

Blairsville was laid out in 1837 by Stephen Blair, and named for him. [3] A post office was established at Blairsville in 1838, and remained in operation until 1902. [4] With the construction of the railroad in 1880, business activity shifted to nearby Wadesville, and the town declined. [5] Blairsville contains the historic Blairsville Cemetery.
H. C. S. Motor Car Company was a short-lived Indianapolis, Indiana, automobile manufacturer. It may have built as many as 3,000 cars between the summer of 1920 and 1926, when its doors were closed by its creditors.
