These pages are accessed via the interlanguage links or interwiki links, usually visible on the upper right of a page. (For the desktop website this was previously on the bottom left. For some languages this is still the case). Links to all the different language versions for that page will be displayed.
The problem with having links on each page was that each language had to maintain its own separate lists. So for example, if the name of a page on the English Wikipedia changed, then each Wikipedia article in a different language that linked to that English Wikipedia page would have to separately notice this fact and change their own links.
Go to the sidebar and click "Add links" or "Edit links" (under 'Languages', in the language of that wiki). Enter "en" as the language of the wiki you got the content from, and the title of the page you translated, then click "Link with page". If appropriate, edit again, tidy up the layout, and add links, headings, and images.

Change the language of user-interface messages. It does not affect articles and other pages made by editors. Note that many interface messages have been customized at the English Wikipedia but usually only for the default "en - English" which may for example add links to relevant help pages, processes and policies.
