OC Transpo was established in 1948 as the Ottawa Transportation Commission, and currently operates three urban rail lines, 11 bus rapid transit (BRT) lines, and 170 regular bus routes. OC Transpo serves 25 light rail stations, and 43 BRT stations. OC Transpo achieved a total ridership of 110,596,700 in 2023.
South Coast Plaza is the most served location on the OC Bus system, served by five routes (55, 57, 86, 150, 553). The longest is route 1 ( Long Beach – San Clemente ) which utilizes Pacific Coast Highway for the vast majority of its 40-mile (64 km) route.

Canadian Tire Centre is an OC Transpo bus station in Ottawa, Ontario.It is located in the north parking lot at the Canadian Tire Centre [1] in the western suburb of Kanata.. In the past, the station had a park and ride facility served weekdays between the hours of 5:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. [1] The parking facilities were permanently closed in March of 2024 due to low usage.
