Boruto is a manga series written by Ukyō Kodachi (vol. 1–13) and Masashi Kishimoto (vol. 14–20) and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto. [1] [2] The first series, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, was launched in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump on 9 May 2016.
Manga Plus (stylized as MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA) is an online manga platform and smartphone app owned by Shueisha that was launched on January 28, 2019. It is available worldwide except in Japan, China, and South Korea which already have their own services, including Shōnen Jump+ , the original Japanese service.

Boruto Uzumaki (Japanese: うずまき ボルト, Hepburn: Uzumaki Boruto) is a fictional character created by Masashi Kishimoto who first appears in the finale of the manga series Naruto as the son of the protagonist Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Uzumaki.
It was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump from May 2019 to March 2020, with its chapters collected in five tankōbon volumes. In North America, Viz Media published the series on the Shonen Jump platform, and started the print release of the series in March 2020. Shueisha published it on the Manga Plus platform.
